ELECTIVE PERIODS FOR (INTERNATIONAL) STUDENTS
The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is a very popular host for elective (international) students. Most (international) students generally complete a 4 to 8 weeks elective period during which they are exposed to clinical orthopaedics and the pre-graduate training programme. Students are generally placed within one the following areas of expertise:
Students who are interested in doing an elective period within the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery should, well in advance, contact the Elective Office of the Faculty of Medicine and Health sciences.
